We are pleased to announce our winner of our Bournemouth & Poole College Star of the Month for September– James Sewell!
This award recognises the contributions staff have made, and their unwavering dedication in going above and beyond to enhance the student experience here at The College.
Our brilliant judging panel is made up of a selection of staff from across the college, who have done a great job at reviewing the nominations and selecting this month’s winner
James has been nominated for his kindness, great management skills, leadership, and going beyond and above to help staff and our learners. He is always happy, motivated, and never complains.
He has gone through enormous efforts to ensure that his team is supported within their roles, that learners have a good learning experience and has worked hard to ensure high retention and achievement rates.
More recently, our Star has been a huge support for colleagues facing difficult times. He has never given up on them and has given great encouragement and motivation to keep them going.
James shared his thoughts with our marketing and communications team. He was more than happy to receive his award:
“I’m really thankful about the recognition for this award, it means a lot to be recognised by other staff members. I aim to make a difference every day, and I enjoy figuring out how to always improve upon what we do, and how to ensure positive change. I’d also like to thank my amazing team – their commitment to their work and their suggestions have led to some fantastic results.”
James received a prize of a £60 Amazon Voucher and an additional day of annual leave.
