This course will allow beginners or more experienced painters to explore watercolour, acrylic and oil painting through the lens of traditional and contemporary practices and styles. You will get to know a little about the history of painting whilst using and exploring the materials that artists such as Turner and Renoir were using. The programme will develop your observing eye and drawing skills as well as a sense of freedom and confidence. You will get a chance to explore contemporary painting techniques and work from a number of references including local nature.
