We are pleased to announce our winner of our Bournemouth & Poole College Star of the Month for October– Laura Collins!
This award recognises the contributions staff have made, and their unwavering dedication in going above and beyond to enhance the student experience here at The College.
Our brilliant judging panel is made up of a selection of staff from across the college, who have done a great job at reviewing the nominations and selecting each month’s winners
The October Star of the Month has stepped up during one of the busiest times of the year, to lead on work and decisions for the Careers Advice and Guidance Team. Not only has she taken on this responsibility, but she has continued to provide an excellent service to our students and started earlier than ever before, the work around supporting the colleges EHCP and LAC.
Laura shared her thoughts with our marketing and communications team. She was more than happy to receive this award:
“I'm really thankful that colleagues have nominated me to be the Star of October. It's lovely to know the work I do has been recognised. October was a really intense month and it was nice to be appreciated for it. I work in a really lovely team at The College and I feel that they all have contributed to the success in our departement. I'm glad to work with really fabulous people!”
Laura received a prize of a £60 Amazon Voucher and an additional day of annual leave.
