Dorset Art Prize 2022- entries now closed

For the eighth annual instalment of the Dorset Art Prize, Bournemouth & Poole College are delighted to welcome entries from Primary, Middle and Secondary schools throughout Dorset.

Primary School Prize (Years 3-6)

The Primary School Prize aims to encourage young children to engage and participate in the Arts.

Open for entries from Years 3 to 6, each school can enter up to 10 pieces of art to be in with a chance to win £500 for first place or £250 for second place for their school. The shortlisted Primary schools will have a copy of their artwork displayed at an exhibition. 

Teachers will be required to upload artwork on behalf of their school. The entries can be from individual students as well as collaborative pieces of artwork from groups/classes. 

(Please note that Middle Schools are eligible to enter both the Primary and Secondary Art Prize categories. The student must be within the relevant age category.)

Secondary School Prize (Years 7-9)

The Secondary School Prize aims to encourage students to engage and participate in the Arts.

Open for entries from Years 7 to 9, each school can enter up to 10 pieces of art to be in with a chance to win £500 for first place or £250 for second place for their school. The shortlisted Secondary schools will have a copy of their artwork displayed at an exhibition.
