What degrees do you offer?

What if I can’t afford to go to university?
We offer a range of financial support, including bursaries to help pay for certain things, to make degree-level study available to as many people as people. You can find out more here
Where is the campus?
The brand-new Degree Centre is located at North Road campus, following investment supported by the Government. You can find directions and contact details here
What facilities are there?
The new Degree Centre offers a state-of-the-art learning environment for students to study degree level qualifications and provides flexible learning spaces for small group teaching, digital suites with access to high specification IT equipment, virtual reality suites and industry-standard nursing training facilities. There are also social and study spaces to allow students to meet and collaborate.
How many students will be in my class?
Class sizes vary but are generally much smaller than traditional universities. Typically you will be in a group of 15-25 students and have opportunities to work and/or socialise with students on related courses. We avoid the use of lecture theatres wherever possible and instead favour workshop and small group teaching. Teachers know all their students’ names and we pride ourselves on treating all students as individuals.

What’s the social life like?
There’s a lot going on – whether on, or off-campus! The local area is a thriving community with lots of bars, restaurants and entertainment. On-campus, you can get involved in the Degree Centre social life; maybe event representing your fellow students on the Student Voice forum. You can find out more here
Will my degree be valued by employers?
We ensure our courses are developed with employers to give you the competitive edge in the real world. We have close links with over 2,000 employers meaning we stay up to date with developments and the needs of industry. What happens after my degree?
We go the extra mile to set you up for future success but that doesn’t end when you finish your degree. We can signpost and offer support to progress to a a wide range of post-graduate opportunities.
