The world of animation provides significant cultural and economic contribution to the UK through games, films, TV, advertising and visualisation, and the UK’s leading animation and visualisation studios are constantly on the lookout for new and emerging talent. Our degree programmes offer a solid base of animation skills, and we've been training students and preparing them for the creative industries since 2002, making Bournemouth & Poole College a great place to study Animation. This is a thriving and diverse industry that could see you working in motion capture, character design or architectural visualisation.

Based at our North Road site in Poole, the Digital Design Centre is a unique open space which encourages creativity. We offer five high-spec computer suites and cutting-edge resources including two inertial motion capture suits, a hand-held 3D scanner and 340 core render farm - all of which are incorporated into coursework and available for project work.
