T Levels are Nationally recognised qualifications which carry UCAS tariff points. Passing one T Level is the equivalent of passing three A Levels. T Levels offer a unique way of learning, combining valuable industry experience with classroom study. The T Level in Digital Production, Design and Development will advance your understanding and knowledge of topics such as programming, coding, the use of data and different delivery platforms in the digital industry. You will look at emerging technical trends, such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Blockchain and 3D printing. Within the course, you can choose a digital area to specialise in, allowing you to develop and practice the specific skills needed for the digital workplace.
What will you learn?
Throughout the course you will:
Understand how digital technologies impact businesses.
This course is for students aged 16-18 or students wishing to pursue an alternative career path om Digital Production, Design or Development.
To enrol on this course, you must have 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 (Formerly Grade C) or above, including English, Maths and Science. Alternatively, you could have Vocational Tech Award qualification(s) at Pass or above in a relevant subject, e.g. BTEC Digital Technology.
This course is assessed through a final End Point Assessment (EPA). There are no formal exams.
As part of your T Level, you will complete 45 days in a work placement. We encourage you to find an employer that is the right fit for you and will support you in securing your employment.
You can progress to a Higher Education course in Digital, or into the workplace.
