The Foundation Business T Level is a new innovative qualification, specifically designed around industry placements, offering you valuable hands-on experience within a business. You will cover theoretical knowledge at Bournemouth and Poole College, which will provide you with a robust foundation to thrive in your placement and in any future studies or work. Passing this qualification will gain you a Level 2 certificate providing you with a clear progression pathway into our full Management and Administration T Level. T Levels offer a unique way of learning, combining industry experience with classroom study..

 

What will you learn?

Throughout the course you will:

  • Carry out routine administrative activities to meet targets.
  • Manage diaries and make travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Offer support in meetings.
  • Make and receive telephone calls.
  • Greet and look after visitors.
  • Demonstrate professional behaviours and effective communication.
  • Work to ensure the completion of tasks meet deadlines.
  • Manage your own time and work load.

School leavers aged 16 - 19+ or students looking to change career.

To enrol on this course, you must have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grades 9 to 3 (formerly A* to E) including English and Maths.

Assessment:

 T Level students will be assessed in a variety of ways, to ensure they are well-rounded individuals. Students enrolled on this course will have to pass mandatory units of coursework.

As part of your T Level, you will complete 45 days in a work placement. We encourage you to find an employer that is the right fit for you and will support you in securing your employment.

You can scale-up to the full T Level in Business Managment and Administration - Business Support, or move onto another course or into the workplace.
