Course Overview
This is delivered externally by The Hospice Education Alliance at various setting across Dorset and Hampshire.
The course is theory only however knowledge of End of Life Care is important. The course includes detail on legislation, practice, support mechnisms and strategies.
The Level 2 is delivered over 1 day and Level 3 over 3 days
You will require a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A*-D including English and maths grades 9-3 (formerly A*-D) and science for some programmes. Alternatively successful completion of a relevant Level 1 qualification and have achieved a Level 1 Functional Skill in English and maths.
Assessment is undertaken via booklets. These wil be completed during workshop times. Support offered.
