Course Overview

As a line manager there are many challenges to managing a team of staff and the expectation now is that in many organisations that the HR Function is there to guide, support and advise both the staff and the managers.

In an ever-changing business world, line managers may have the technical expertise but may need to enhance their knowledge with their management of people.

The course will give participants an opportunity to look at good practice and focus on key areas that are HR related. This one-day programme will enable managers to enhance their people management skills as well as acknowledge the need for robust HR policies and procedures within the organisation.
