An assessment of the individual’s competence in gas safety related areas, specifically installation, exchange, disconnection, service, repair and commission of domestic gas appliances and equipment.
This course is to test the knowledge and skills of gas operatives in accordance with the health and safety legislation and conformity with the European Standard EN45013.

To apply for this assessment you must satisfy the BPEC criteria.
You must provide information to the assessment centre regarding your gas industry related experience and qualifications.
You will require a CAT2 evidence record to support your entry for this course. Support and guidance in the completion of this is given prior to starting the course.
BPEC assessments are conducted in accordance with nationally agreed standards and in compliance with the requirements of the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS).
The assessment consists of 4 written papers and a practical assessment.
On completion of this assessment you will be able to apply to Gas Safe for registration subject to your current certification.
