With an estimated 700,000 people in the UK who are diagnosed with autism and a further understanding of neurodiversity in society learners will be able to apply their knowledge to various employment and education destinations. This qualification is designed for learners who want to increase their knowledge and understanding of autism. Successful completion of this qualification will allow learners to develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of autism, which would support progression onto appropriate qualifications and into employment within the health and social care sector.

For each qualification the learner receives a hard copy/learning pack, which contains all the theory and knowledge a learner will need to achieve these Level 2 qualifications. We use a online learning platform known as eAssessor to submit your answers to the course, the course is broken into topics/sections and you submit your studies to your assessor for feedback as you work your way through.
What you will learn:
Unit 01: Autism in context
Unit 02: Positive behavioural support for individuals with autism
Unit 03: Understand support and management of transitions for individuals with autism
Unit 04: Therapeutic interventions and support available for individuals with autism and co-occuring conditions
Unit 05: Communication and social interaction with individuals with autism
Unit 06: Safeguarding and resilience in autism
These funded courses are available for anyone that is 19 years old and over, that have lived in the EU/UK for the past 3 years.
No previous experience or knowledge of this subject is required.

These courses are offered 'free' on the proviso that the course is completed. If you fail to complete any course, you will be liable to pay a £125.00 administrative fee.
