Over recent years, the gaming industry has transcended culture and society in a way very few people originally thought. Once the hobby of a minority, Esports is now a fast-growing global industry offering a wide range of employment opportunities either directly or via Higher Education.  

Esports Content Creation & Media Production Courses

What experiences will I get?

The skills honed in this course are not limited to the Esports realm. Graduates are equipped for roles in diverse industries such as media, IT, Events Management, and Marketing. Whether you're directing a live broadcast, designing captivating graphics, or managing large-scale events, this course lays the foundation for a vibrant career path. 

The large Level 3 qualification is intended for students wanting to progress directly to employment creating content for commercial and Esports.

Additionally, the breadth of content in this qualification and its equivalence to 3 A-Levels allows learners to widen their opportunities to progress to several different Higher Education courses.

 

 

You will require a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C) including English and Maths.

Learners will be assessed by a series of internally-created and moderated projects and each year finished with a Final Major Project (FMP) which will gain the overall mark for that year (Pass, Merit or Distinction).

Each student will carry out five days of individually sourced work experience with in each year of the course.

On completion of this, two-year Extended Diploma progression to a university-level course here at Bournemouth and Poole College or further a field.
