If you are starting out in your Human Resources or Learning & Development career, the CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice will give you the skills and knowledge to progress quickly in your chosen profession

The Level 3 qualification, which leads to CIPD Foundation Membership, includes four core units designed to provide a solid grounding in the people profession,

You do not need any formal qualifications to join this course other than a keen interest in Human Resources, its related subjects and a good level ofthe  English language, verbal and written. 

A range of assessment from report writing, essays and practical demonstration of skills.

There are a number of viable and interesting options which include the full Foundation Diploma in HR Practice, or the Intermediate CIPD qualifications.

There will be an additional cost to the candidate for CIPD registration which is essential and which the candidate will make directly to CIPD.  Information can be obtained from the CIPD website.

There is an additional fee for the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) membership. The CIPD is the professional body for those involved in the management and development of people.

You should expect to undertake an additional 4 hours work per week outside of your four hours lecture attendance and tutorial time. This may vary from student to student, depending on past experience.
