The course will:
· Introduce you to the world of bookkeeping and your role within it.
· Help you gain skills and knowledge so that you can understand and use both manual systems and accounting software.
· Help and advise on gaining roles with accounting firms and other businesses in the area.
· Put you on the path to a rewarding career in the finance sector.
Bookkeeping fundamentals:
Understand the role of the bookkeeper
Understand financial transactions
Process customer and supplier transaction
Process receipts and payments
Understand the benefits and risks of using accounting software to complete bookkeeping tasks.
Anyone who wishes to start a career in Bookkeeping.
Achieved GCSE English & Maths
Exam
This is not included
Progress onto Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
Trainee bookkeeping assistant, accounts, administration assistant

£46.00 membership fee will need to be paid directly at the start of the course.
AAT student membership is a requirement of this course and registration must be completed at the beginning of the course.
AAT membership fees are charged and regulated by AAT directly. Please check their website www.aat.org.uk for up to date fee values.

This course is designed as a blended learning experience, combining online lessons and activities with monthly in person classroom sessions.
