Uniformed Public Services

Department Overview

Taught by experienced lecturers, you’ll learn about the law, police powers, leadership and teamwork, politics and public service employment. Outside the classroom, our courses are very hands-on. You’ll learn about land navigation, adventurous activities, fitness, and leadership command tasks. You'll take part in up-to-date fitness classes, training models, adventure training including expeditions, climbing, mountain walking and water-based activities. You’ll also attend lectures, interactive classroom sessions, seminars and hear from specialist guest speakers.
