Support during your Apprenticeship
An Apprenticeship means you spend more time in the workplace, gaining experience and earning a wage but with the additional benefit of the high levels of support given to students in College
You'll have lots of support as an Apprentice at The College including safeguarding, financial, emotional and welfare, careers advice and learning support:
- We’ll facilitate a safe workplace
- We’ll provide personalised support for you to achieve.
You'll have a personal Apprenticeship Assessor who'll work with you to create an Individual Learning Plan. They'll help you to stay on track while working with your employer to make sure your training offers the skills you need for the job and meets the national standards.
The College also carries out stringent employer checks at key stages of the process to safeguard you, including checks before the student starts with an employer.
You'll also have access to other student support like the Students' Union, which offers lots of activities and events, opportunities to meet other students and even discounts on many brands.
