Applying for an Apprenticeship is easy and we are here to support you every step of the way.

Who can apply?

One of the best things about an Apprenticeship is that anyone can do one providing you’re aged 16 or over and have secured an employer to support you through your Apprenticeship. To become an apprentice, you must:

  • be 16 or over
  • not already be in full-time education
  • live in England

You can start an apprenticeship whether you’re starting your career, want a change or you're upskilling in your current job. You can have a previous qualification like a degree and still start an apprenticeship; as long as you're learning new skills.

And they’re not just for school leavers either. If you’re already working you could sign up for an Apprenticeship with your current employer. They are also a great option for people looking for a career change.

How to apply for your Apprenticeship

While many Apprenticeships start in September, they can start throughout the year, so you can apply at any time. You can even apply before you leave school.

  1. Start with creating your CV. There's lots of advice online how to do this.
  2. Apply for one our courses, as well as approaching potential employers to support you through your Apprenticeship.
  3. You will be invited in for an interview and assessment. It’s an opportunity to make sure the Apprenticeship you’ve chosen is right for you and your future plans. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have.
  4. We will then submit your CV to the employer.
  5. You may be invited for an interview with the employer.
  6. We will work with the employer to ensure all checks and funding are in place to ensure your enrolment onto the apprenticeship can start smoothly.

If successful, you will then start your Apprenticeship.
