Our resident paralympic surfing progress coach from electrical has his moment in the sun, this Friday, for he will be on The Last Leg show this coming Friday night on Channel 4 at 10-00 pm.

Mark Hagger, who is a ‘Men’s Prone 2’ (Assisted) Surfer in the English Championships, initially won his title in 2021 during lockdown; which he has kept in 2022 and 2023. He will also compete in theWorld Championships at Huntington Beach, Surf City in California, from the 3rd – 9th of November this year.

Mark met with Adam Hills and co-hosts Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker who provide some offbeat commentary on the significant moments over the duration of the week. The top TV team were surfing up at The Wave with Mark and colleagues, and Mark sat down and had a chat with them and Mark and friends judged them surfing in a little competition.

Mark says: “It was really, really, great fun and they were very pleasant to spend time with.

The episode will be aired this coming Friday night on their Paralympic show from Paris at either 10:00 or 11:00 pm.”
Do stay tuned for more Mark Hagger surfing updates!

The Paralympics runs from Wednesday 28th August  - Sunday, 8th September 2024.
