Student Secures Perfect Job After Apprenticeship

One of our Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship (Oct 2022-Apr 2024) graduates now has a successful career in the digital industry following his studies at Bournemouth and Poole College. 

Ben Franklin, who hails from Blandford Forum, learned how to use the basics of Marketing in the workplace and traditional ways of Marketing in the Modern Era along with many soft skills including LinkedIn through to Creator Lab. As part of his apprenticeship, he was required to undertake a work placement and training with Poole Bay Holdings - a UK Business-2-Business eCommerce and catalogue company with product marketing expertise across a wide range of health, safety, and facilities products. Ben has now secured a full-time job working in the same company.

Ben, an avid Christian, is doing a series of Podcasts including a business one out now all on people's first time doing something such as starting a newsletter and one coming out soon is a Christianity and the Bible podcast, where Ben and his co-host discuss different topics whilst going through books of the Bible.

Ben says: “I loved the course as it was ‘knowledgeable’ - especially with the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) plus the YATM (You Are The Media) Creator Lab. I learned a lot and got a lot of great opportunities.”

He added: “Bournemouth and Poole have lovely campuses with great teachers and if you keep your head down, you'll certainly do well.”

Ben also loves football and boxing
