New Student Welcome Day

On Thursday 4^th July, 9 am - 2 pm, we look forward to welcoming hundreds of new students to the college for our New Student Welcome event. 

This will give new students who have accepted an offer from the college the opportunity to explore their chosen curriculum area ahead of the new academic year. 

Timings for the day: 

• staggered arrival to the college from 9.30 am, precise arrival times have been emailed to students;
• students will be taken to their relevant rooms for an interactive activity for the course they have selected;
• lunch period with a variety of entertainment; 

• students will then be able to leave college after lunch.

  Groups for the day are as follows:

  • Group 1: Business, Hair & Beauty, Hospitality & Catering, Sports, Travel & Tourism, UPS;
  • Group 2: Automotive, Engineering, Boatbuilding & Marine Engineering, Counselling, Early Years and Care, Foundation, Health & Social Care, Humanities and Social Science, Psychology, Criminology and Law;
  • Group 3: Brickwork, Carpentry, Electrical, Plastering, Plumbing, Art & Design, Digital & Computing, Esports, Media, Music, Performing Arts.
