With a shift towards a new and greener nation - especially across Dorset (where we will be holding our second localized COP (Conference of the Parties) at Bournemouth University on Saturday, 2nd November). Here at Bournemouth and Poole College, we’re also thinking green – especially in the design of our electrical courses.

(The following courses are designed for electricians) who want to develop and expand their existing skills to include:

  • the installation and maintenance of Single Electric Vehicle Charging (from Sept 2024)
  • the *installation and Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems (Non-refrigeration circuits, and;
  • the *installation and Maintenance of Small-scale Solar Photovoltaic (Solar PV) Systems).

Also, we offer the following course: 

  • Free online course - Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness. 

*Please note these courses will commence from January 2025.
