A Level Students Do Work Experience in the College

From Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th of February, the college played host to four Year 12 A Level Psychology students in the Student Inclusion and Support Team. They were paired up with us through their teacher at Poole High School.

As part of work experience week, they went out into industry placements and helped to make a positive difference, The students were in the pod in the Library where they learned counselling skills of how to feed back to the clients, and developed a survey with 10 students about anti-bullying and inclusion. They also analysed the results.

The students – Freya, Sophie K, Sophie E. and Mia all said they enjoyed the experience. They also planned a stall for promotion of wellbeing and created an Information pinpoint board for students.

A warm thanks go to all the students involved for helping to make a positive difference generally in and around the college.
