Future Prospects

We have a proven track record with our IT Apprentices. Careers in Project Management, IT management, and Development operations are just some of the career paths our apprentices have chosen. Some move onto pastures new, others have remained with us, progressing into more senior positions in our central IT support team. For the right candidate, we are able to explore higher level apprenticeships and if this is appropriate for your career path, we will support your professional development in this manner.

Ideally, you will have A level or equivalent level 3 qualifications. You will need a minimum of four GCSEs at grade C or 4 and above or equivalent, including English and Maths. Degree holders who have no previous qualification within this field are also able to apply.

In addition to your level 3 apprenticeship which is certified by the British Computer Society, You will receive formal training in Google Workspace for education and become ITIL certified during the duration of your apprenticeship. In terms of on the job training, you will learn how to use our helpdesk ticketing system, provide excellent first line support to our schools, and how to work with a managed service provider to provide excellent customer service to the end user.
