We believe college should be different to school and help develop students' independence, whilst still providing the highest levels of support, both academically and pastorally, in a whole-person approach. As a parent or carer, you have a right to know what to expect at college for your son or daughter, and we have open events throughout the year where you're invited to come in and see our facilities and talk to staff and existing students about what college is like, before making a final decision on where to study.
As a parent or carer of a student at Bournemouth and Poole College, you'll be informed at regular intervals how your son or daughter is progressing, and will be invited to progress events and have opportunities to raise any questions or concerns you may have. You'll also be invited to complete our annual parents and carers survey.
