With energy costs spiralling, more efficient heating is in high demand and the take-up of ground source heat pumps, backed by government funding, has seen a rapid rise in the last two years according to the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), with installations in the UK now exceeding 200,000.

Increased demand for these products means there are great opportunities for people with the right qualifications, whether working for installation companies or for self-employed professionals with up-to-date skills.
