We'll take the time to understand your ambitions, qualifications and skills to help you achieve your goals. The College has a team of professionally qualified Careers Advisers who can support you with your career planning before, during and after you come to College.
If you're not sure which career, course or Apprenticeship to choose, they can help you look at the options and support you to make the right choice for you. They can support you to progress to the next level course within College, as well as help you to make decisions about your options after College such as, Higher Education, Apprenticeships and starting your career.
The team is Matrix accredited which ensures the Careers Advice and Guidance you receive will be impartial covering the full range of options to meet your career development and planning needs.

Stuart Henderson
Pippa is the named Careers Leader across The College and manages the team of Careers Advisers and Employability Skills Coaches, making sure that all students receive high quality impartial Careers Advice and Guidance. Pippa is also responsible for ensuring that there is a whole-college approach, to the delivery of Careers Education, Information Advice and Guidance. Pippa is also a qualified Careers Adviser with over 14 years’ experience within the Career Development profession.

Amy is Level 6 qualified (Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development) and has worked as a Careers Adviser since 2007. Amy discovered her passion for working with young people during her Music Performance studies at university when running a song recording project in a local school. Amy has experience of working in a variety of settings including referral units, mainstream and special needs schools across Poole and Dorset. Amy enjoys supporting students as individuals, in overcoming barriers and making successful career transitions.
Stuart is Level 6 qualified in Career guidance and development, and brings over six years' experience in advice and guidance work, including as an employment advisor for the NHS. He is particularly adept at supporting with CV writing and job interview coaching, small group work for employability skills, and skills and development coaching.
